We develop software that images functional whole-cortex activity from dense-array electroencephalography (EEG) data. At the core of our software is a new algorithmic technology, the first of its kind that produces deeper cortical images robustly at a usefully high resolution.
Convex Imaging's technology is fundamentally different from traditional EEG imaging. It is the first (and only) technology that resolves simultaneous activity at multiple cotrical locations, even in the presence of densely distributed, strongly correlated sources. It does not assume individual point sources nor requires a complex fitting of source locations. It uses a novel approach to inverse problems, rooted in modern probabilistic (Bayesian) modeling and machine learning.
